Sea to Summit is a proud proponent of Leave No Trace. Our Tree Protector straps will ensure that the trees you hang your hammock from will be there for many more generations. Tree protectors are wider than standard straps, measuring one point five inches, to avoid ring-barking trees. They feature high-strength plated steel buckles that attach to the Suspension Straps with ease.

Usage Guide:
The Suspension Straps include Tarp Attachment Point straps with gated carabiners attached to the Suspension Straps via bungee cords. They are used to pitch the Jungle Tarp, and can be stowed neatly using the ‘Hook Keeper’ loop. The Tarp Attachment Straps should not be tensioned when the gated carabiner is attached to the Hook Keeper – this will place them under load when a sleeper is in the hammock, and may result in damage to the Tarp Attachment Straps.Includes:
- 2 x Protectors that attach to suspensions straps (sold separately) for the setup of one hammock
