The Global Minosharp 2 Stage Water Sharpener is the recommended sharpener for Global knives. The Global Minosharp Water Sharpener is a water sharpener that is very fast and very safe to use. The use of water quickens sharpening process and the conveniently preset slots help to sharpen the knives in appropriate position with minimum effort. The rubberized handgrip and bottom prevent slipping. 

1. White wheel – COARSE groove 
2. Pink wheel – MEDIUM groove 

MinoSharp sharpeners have been tested and approved by CATRA, the foremost authority on knife sharpening techniques, based in Sheffield, England. The number of strokes required will depend on the type and condition of the knife, but we would recommend: 
a) For Global knives 7 or 8 strokes on the wheels.
b) For other brands 20 strokes on the wheels. If the knife is not sharpened enough by 20 strokes, please repeat another 20 strokes.
